Frequently Asked Questions

  • You can come in without a physician’s referral for PT for 8 visits or 21 days, whichever comes first!

  • You can expect each visit to be 1:1 with the Doctor of Physical Therapy.

Each session is completely personalized to your needs. We’ll start by discussing your injury history, goals, and movement patterns. Then, we will assess how your body moves and identify any imbalances or limitations. From there, we’ll dive into hands-on treatment and targeted exercises to improve mobility, strength, and performance. Our goal is to give you the tools and strategies to get stronger, move pain-free, and stay active long-term!

  • At YourMove PT we operate as a fee for service, cash-based practice which allows us to:

    • spend a full hour one-on-one and

    • treat each client with an individualized and intentional plan of care without being limited by insurance contracts.

With this model, we have been able to get clients feeling, moving, and performing better quicker than a traditional PT setting.

This means we will not take insurance, however, we can provide a superbill to submit to your insurance for you to receive partial reimbursement and/or apply it to your deductible!

It is best to get in touch with your insurance company to get more information on what their reimbursement looks like.

Patients typically opt to pay with credit card, FSA, or HSA.

  • The traditional insurance-based healthcare model prioritizes volume over value. They focus on how many patients can be seen and how quickly, all while lowering reimbursement for providers. Patients are being seen alongside 5 other patients in the same hour or being handed off to rehab aides, not allowing the provider to truly be intentional with the patient in front of them. This results in rushed, impersonal care and ultimately reduces the quality of treatment, not just in physical therapy, but across the entire healthcare system.

At YourMove PT, we do things differently. Our approach puts you at the center of your care. We intentionally structure each session to give you dedicated one-on-one time. Time to be heard, to set meaningful goals, and to work together on a personalized plan that helps you reach them. You should leave each session feeling stronger, more confident, and clearer about your progress - not stuck doing the same exercises on repeat without real attention or guidance.
